revamped with outdoor
classroom seating and a garden.
Teachers, students and parents collaborated earlier this year for a
weekend to plant the garden now in full bloom, featuring native plants, a rose garden to reflect
federation and blue, yellow and purple flowers to resemble the school colours.
Teachers and project supervisor Fabio Caprarelli said the garden had
| raised the spirits of the school and of the community.
The school worked under the supervision and the advice of a committee from Fairfield Council.
The students will continue to maintain the garden.
The group of 25 students from years 8 to 12 were
| pleased with the final result. They were also proud of their hard work.
Year 8 student Natalie Serra said "The garden welcomes everyone to the school and makes it look
better. it's something to be proud of when we drive past.
| said: We learn a great deal from being involved in the garden, such as
cooperation and working as a team."
