LIKE most 15-year-olds, Sasha Krajnc and Angelica Sorn have yet to decide what they'll do when they finish high school but
the year 10 Westfields Sports High students know education will open doors which is why they will support local charity
Learning Links at the Enchanted Evening of Hot Winter Jazz on Saturday at Club Marconi.
Angelica, with electives of drama, Japanese and maths, said: ``It's really important to show how well education has
prospered in western Sydney and support local organisations that work towards that.''
Sasha, who regularly represents the school, district, region and state in dance and is flourishing in drama, said: ``It's
good |
having a broad range of options for when I finish school.''
Deputy principal Helen Wilson said: ``We refer some of our students to Learning Links and a number of our students
performed at their ball last year, so there's a very strong relationship between them.''
Learning Links supports children having difficulty at school. More then 250 a week attend its centre.
Tickets cost $160. Corporate sponsorships are available.
Organisers welcome donations for prizes and auction.
Details, donations: Robyn Collins, rcollins@learninglinks .org.au or 95341710 or 0412273815.
