Lisa Ransmayr bids farewell to Westfields Sports and principal Phil Tucker after
spending 12 months on a Rotary exchange program. Lisa, from Austria, expressed her appreciation
for the friendship and hospitality extended to her during her stay. Lisa joined Westfields as a
year 11 student and spent 2004 undertaking year 12 courses. When she returns home, Lisa hopes to
complete her high schooling before travelling throughout Europe.

Ben Gosling, graduate of 2002, returned to Westfields and is photographed in front of the Damien
Nelson honour board. Ben was the first recipient of this award - which is presented to students
who achieve a great deal despite much hardship. Damien Nelson was a talented Westfields footballer
who lost his struggle with cancer while studying for his HSC. Ben is shown here with his grand
mother who has been his greatest supporter. Ben currently works for the Northcott Foundation.
