NSW Governor Marie Bashir visited Westfields Sports High School to congratulate students who received the school's highest awards last month.
Professor Bashir presented students with their 10 stage welfare system certificates at an assembly.
The stage 10 welfare system that "catches kids being good" sees students start at level 5 and strive to achieve the highest stage at level one for academia,
sport and community and school service.
Professor Bashir presented 18 year 12 students with the Department of Education and Training award for achieving level one status, and the Principal's Award to 23 students who achieved level two.
