I just wanted to say that I'm still very appreciative of the time and hospitality given to me by your family, the school,
the team and Coach Trevor.
It was a good experience and I thank you all for it. You remain in my thoughts and my good wishes.
As you may know, when I returned to Singapore, I continued practicing with the ball and mostly with my father.
I moved to Hawaii in August 2007. I played for the U15 club league and a team called the Volcanoes....ha! ha! don't laugh!
I think I improved a little. I had a chance to play offense and was highest scorer for the club season with 8 goals in 6
regular season matches.
As a freshman, I joined my high school team and made the varsity squad playing with the seniors, juniors and sophomores.
I only scored one goal in the season, but it was a header!
We made the State Finals, but had some bad luck and did not win anything.
I was lucky to be selected as the rookie of the year for soccer at the school.
I know it's winter there in a few months and you probably have school...but, if you want to visit Singapore, my dad will be
happy to give you a homestay with us.
