A 15-year-old student from Fairfield has been selected to represent his country in the wet and
wild sport of water polo.
Adam Laws will join the Australian Schoolboys water polo team to tour South Africa in
December.

student recently represented NSW at the national all-schools tournament in Brisbane, finishing
in second place and was spotted there for his great talent.
In October he will represent NSW again at the under-17 national titles in Hobart.
Adam, a centre forward or a driver, is in the NSW Institute of Sport Opens water polo team on a
scholarship program.
He is currently trialling for the Australian Institute of Sport water polo team as well as the
Australian under-17 squad. Adam told the Champion how hard training was.
"I just do it. Sleep is all I want. I don't get enough of it," he said.
"I get up at 4:30am to train at Homebush four times a week. Then at night. During the season
I have about 12 session a week including two games."
He said he is veruy focused on the future. "I want want to play for Australia," he said.
"I want to win a gold medal at the Olympics."
