IN the end, Westfields Sports High School couldn't lose.
The Year 8 boys toppled the Year 7 students. And in this case everyone's a winner.
Westfields, with a host of major trophy wins in the sport in recent times, added another one to
the bulging mantlepiece.
Westfields won the NSW Super Eight Milo series recently at Endeavour Sportsground, Fairfield.
There were 10 teams competing in the metropolitan south-west region.

The eight-a-side series provides fast and furious cricket - quick singles,
careful placement and agressive hitting with limited numbers in the field to plug holes.
Westfields head cricket coach Ian Gill said it was an outstanding performance by both
teams.
"The record will show the Year 8 team won the tournament and they played well and the efforts of
the Year 7 team was also meritorious," Ian Gill said.
"The school's program is developing good talent all the time," he said.
