JARED Vidler, 14, Knows a thing or two about being in representative teams.
The voyager Point teenager (pictured) has represented Bankstown Cricket Association since the
under-10s but his latest selection is a true indication of his talent.
Vidler is one of two spin bowlers selected for NSW All Schools 15-years cricket team for the
Australian championships in Bathurst next month.
The Westfields Sports High School student was selected after

playing for the combined High School team in Bathurst last year.
"I was pretty happy and I was confi-

dent I was going to make it because I played well in the trials in Bathurst," Vidler said.
Vidler already has had a successful year representing Fairfield-Liverpool in the Green Shield.
Vidler helped his team finish second, taking 15 wickets.
Vidler had never bowled spin before but decided to give it a go at training one day in the under-10s.
Fortunatley, his coached realised his potential.
