Four youngsters are entering not only the new domain of high school in 2004 but also greener
fields in their cricketing education.
Jordy Gregory, Taylor Mobbs, Matthew Oostendorp and Michael Pearce, all 12, have
gained entry to the WEstfields Sports High School cricket program.
The school's head of cricket and developement coach Ian Gill said Jordy, Taylor, Matthew
and Michael would be welcome newcommers.
"The boys understandthey are here at school first to achieve their academic requirements, and the cricket. it's part of their life," he said.
"The boys come to the school with promising junior cricketing resumes.
"Jordy, Taylor Matthew and Michael have shown us enough to suggest they have talent to do things in cricket."

Jordy, of Fairfield West, plays cricket with Smithfield RSL Club.
The all-rounder has represented the Fairfield Liverpool association in various age teams for the
past three years.
Left-handed batsman Taylor, of Abbotsbury, plays with Liverpool Catholic Club in the Fairfield
Liverpool junior association.
He has also represented the association at under-13 level.
Matthew, of Cecil Hills, is a promising all-rounder.
He has also played in several Fairfield liverpool association junior age representative teams.
Michael, of Horsley Park, is regarded as a rising right-arm fast bowler.
