Kimberly was never in doubt of shining this season once she finally realised how much talent she had. Ironically this new
found confidence only rose to the surface late last year. From that moment on Kimberly began performing as a champion.
She was for six major races undefeated, even against some of the top hurdlers in the country. She was for most part of 2004 ranked number 1 in 90m hurdles and long jump. Her hurdling continued to improve all year culminating in an impressive p.b. and a well earned National Bronze medal. Kimberly contested the 3 major State finals during the season (CHS, All Schools and Youth) and won them all. Then at the 2005 NSW Little A’s Multi’s Kimberly finished modestly in 4th place, albeit with some impressive p.b.’s in the individual events. However when the score was recalculated using the events of the Australian Multi’s, Kimberly’s score was the second highest and was subsequently selected in the NSW team for the National Titles. At the time of writing we have been informed that Kimberly has won the silver medal in Hobart at the Nationals. A fine way to finish the season.
