Chantel Stanley is one of the emerging stars of the netball galaxy.
The Westfields Sports High School Year 10 student is a member of the school's intensive
netball program.
Jo Macdermid is the head coach of the netball program.
Ms Macdermid said Chantel was developing her netball skills and game all the time.
Chantel, 15, said her experienced coachhad had a positive influence on her sporting development.
The 170cm tall plays netball for schooland has also reached representative levels through the
high school's programs.
During the winter season, the goal attack or goal shooter player turns out for club side A3
division in the Bankstown City Netball Association Saturday club matches at Deverall Park,
Condell Park.
Chantel said she enjoyed playing netball and was happy with the progress being made in her chosen sport.
She is also a members of Netball NSW's Talent Identification Program which helps fast-track the development of talented youth.
"I enjoy the game and I like the people I play netball with here at Bankstown," Chantel said.
"I started playing netball here when I was eight.
"I try and do my best in netball."
