RESULTS: 17 and Under Division: WINNERS
15 and Under Division placed 5th.
Brief summary of 17 and under tournaments:
“Co-captained by Kim Ravaillion and Amy Sommerville, the team showed an amazing level of skill and tactical ability. Clearly
the best team in their division they won each game by a margin of 30 goals or more. Kim Ravaillion was named both “Player of the
Grand Final and Best Player of the Tournament in the 17and Under division”.
Brief summary of 15 and under tournament:
“With the ages of all players being a year or two younger than the rest, these girls struggled at times with the height and physical
maturity of some of the opposition. Both in skill and teamwork the team showed great improvement as the week progressed. Captian,
Sally Krajacic displayed a positive, enthusiastic manner when marshalling her team. Whilst Vice-captain Jade Riley excelled
on court and off, winning the player of the tournament for the 15 and under division.”
Staying at the Walford school the athletes were a credit to the school, their families and themselves for the week.
