LIAM Fulton is immersed in his HSC, with books and study his diet for the next month.
A well-deserved dessert, however, already has been planned; a trip to England and France in late
November with the touring Australian schoolboys' rugby league team.
Fultom and Western Suburbs Magpies S.G. Ball team-mate Ryan Hoffman caught the eyes of selectors
during the side's premiership-winning season.
Both depart on November 21 for an eight-game tour playing against English and French national
and club sides. The tour kicks off on November 25 when the Australians take in Great Britain
Students.
The selectors capped off a great season for the Campbelltown based Magpies and, in particular,
for the two teenagers. While the S.G. Ball side won the premiership, the first division team
earned a semi final place. Fulton and Hoffman, 18,

played in the outstanding 54-4 thrashing of
eventual premiers Canterbury Bulldogs in an elimination match.
Fulton, who has just turned 18, captained the S.G. Ball team. His consistent high standard
of play earned the best and fairest and Players' player award at the club's recent presentation.
Vowing he is a Magpie through and through, the young lock has decided to remain at the club.
Hoffman, meanwhile, has worn the black and white for the final time.
Melbourne Storm swooped on him near the season end and signed him to a two-year contract.
According to club manager Warren McDonnell, the pair are the Magpies' first national schoolboys
in a number of years.
