| Roger Green was one of the first throws coaches
to receive level III accreditation in Australia back in the early 80's. Today he
'single-handedly' organises the courses and accreditation of all new coaches in NSW,
several hundred levelI coaches each year.
Roger brings enormous experience to Westfields with years of coaching elite throwers.
Rogers greatest success this year was that of Rebecca Papadopoulos who won the
Australian All Schools and set a new National Schools record in the shop put event.
Roger's athletes won 4 National medals this season and scores of state medals. Every
Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00am sharp you'll find Roger and his WAC crew at the back
of the school in our throws cage training hard and 'happy as Larry'.
