FORMER Westfields Sports High School student Mark Bridge has returned to Sydney after three years with the A-League's
Newcastle Jets.
The 22-year-old striker will join a star-studded Sydney FC forward line, including Alex Brosque and Socceroo John Aloisi,
this season.
His stint with the Jets was memorable player of the year in 2005/06 and scoring the match-winning goal in
last season's
grand final against the Central Coast Mariners.
Bridge made his international debut for the Socceroos alongside
Harry Kewell in a friendly against Singapore in March.
His form in the A-League has seen him represent the Olyroos on several occasions, and he is likely to feature prominently
in the side's bid for gold at the Beijing Olympics in August.
