SUMMARY
Great start, 2 goals in first 10 minutes. Passing and movement was very good and the boys applied deep pressure.
RT found it very hard to hold possession and rarely got out of their half. Yianni Perkatis one touch finish came from
a great lofted pass by Tomi Cirjak and a well timed run by Yianni. This was one of the best goals of the day.
From 15-25 min we dropped intensity and communication alittle and some casual decision in our half gifted RT some
possession and some chance of creating a scoring opportunity. Tomi Mijic scored from a corner, but at the same time we
also missed 4 good chances.
It was 5-0 by half time. We made 5 substitutions and another 5 with 15 min to go. This leads to some difficulties to
keep to flow of good football going,btu their credit the boys persisted with good intentions. We didn’t manage for the
loss of possession as well as in the first half and consequently, RT had 2-3 good counter attacking opportunities to score.
We have played some good football in our first two matches and must keep this in mind as opponents get stronger and games
may become closer. We needs to win, but must produce quality under this pressure.
