Aim
The Westfields Sports Soccer Program prepares players for representative selection as part of a
state wide development program, dovetailing into a National Talent Identification Program.
We aim to provide a pathway towards a career in football.
Courses Offered/Structure
Primary Program includes skill development, basic game strategies, co-ordination and running skills and physical testing
and analysis. This group train three sessions per week.
Year 7/8 Sport Enrichment includes skill development, basic game strategies, co-ordination and running skills and physical
testing and analysis. This group train three sessions per week.
Year 9/10 Applied Sport is an elective subject for the school certificate. It includes advanced skill development, strength
and conditioning, coaching and refereeing, media skills physical testing and analysis. This group has three sessions per week, but optional extra sessions are available.
Year 11/12 Applied Sport includes advanced skill development, strength and conditioning, coaching and refereeing, media
skills physical testing and analysis. This group has three sessions per week, but optional extra sessions are available
Targeted Soccer Program is by invitation to outstanding players. It offers small group sessions with Casey De Bruin on a
regular basis.

Overseas Travel
Overseas trips have been a feature of the Westfields Sports Soccer Program over the past few
years including trips to Japan, England, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy, China and USA.
