PROMISING junior player David Jeflea will showcase his skills in the Fairfield District
this Saturday.
Venue for the exhibition match is the Marconi Tennis Centre, Bossley Park, next to Club Marconi.
The 16-year-old from Green Valley will play Jurek Stasiak at 3pm.
Staciak, in his early twenties, is a former Australian Open competitor who plays on the
professional circuit.
It will be a match for tennis lovers and the general public to come along and watych.
And Slazenger is sponsoring the match,

giving away a racquet and the sporting goods company will also provide the tennis balls for the
exhibition game.
"The idea of the exhibition match is to generate interest in local tennis," Jeflea's coach, Stewart
Whicher said.
Jeflea is ranked number one in the 16 years' age group in NSW and in the top three nationally.
The right-hander last weekend won the 16 years and under national Australian grasscourt singles
and doubles championship played in Albury.
His doubled partner was Steven Popovic

the best 64 junior players in the nation. for their age group.
"David also won the lead-in event, which was the national Australian grasscourt prelude event
prior to the Australian titles," Whicker said.
"And the week before that, David won the 18 years and under NSW Shell Age singles title."
Whicker said Jeflea is one of the more promising youngsters on the circuit.
