Natasha Micevski a rising tennis star
Year 7 student Natasha Micevski has started to make her mark on the Tennis stage. Natasha, who has only been playing for the
past 4 years, won the “Consolation of Australian Hardcourt Competition” in Brisbane during the July 2006 school holidays.
Natasha was geared to progress through to the Final 16 of the “Metro- politan Hardcourt Championship” at Concord recently but
unfortunately the tournament was abandoned due to heavy rain.
Natasha trains with the Westfields Sports Tennis squad and coach John Marks twice a week and with her private coach, Janine
Thompson, 5 times a week. On Sundays, Natasha plays in a Interdistrict competition and Friday nights involve a twilight competition.
This busy girl is accompanying 4-6 other tennis players from her Parramatta squad to experience life at the John Newcombe
Tennis Ranch in Texas this October.
