From the Principal's Desk
Congratulations to Teigan Newton of Year 11 on gaining first place in the South Western Sydney Regional VET in Schools
Worldskills Competition. Teigan will compete in the State Finals competition in Orange in December. Good Luck Teigan.
The Year 12 Formal was a great success with over 200 students and staff attending. A most enjoyable evening at Le Montage.
A special thanks to Ms Ung and Mrs Freer for all their work over the years to support the students. The students have our
best wishes for a happy, healthy and successful future.
Westfields Sports has recently hosted a Parliamentary delegation on Education from Ireland. The members of Parliament were
most impressed with our programs and the school’s academic and sporting successes. Other recent requests for visits have
been received from South Australia, Victoria and New Zealand. Unfortunately we did not have the time to agree to their
requests.
The Polynesian Festival of Culture Held at Campbelltown last Friday was a tremendous success.
Many months of practice on weekdays and weekends was rewarded with lots of awards including trophies and a very
prestigious Kava Bowl for winning the Samoan Section.
Thank you to the many students and parents who work so tirelessly and successfully - Mr & Mrs Maa, Mrs Tago and Mr & Mrs
Ulugia.
