From the Principal's Desk
Following Mr Tucker's recent announcement of his retirement, it is fitting that we acknowledge his unprecedented contribution to public education both in Australia and internationally.
This week we welcome back Year 12 students from their trial HSC exams. Now is the time to build on the results in an effort to give the best possible outcomes in the HSC (October). Staff offer the best advice and direction to support students. Saturday School tutorials and special after school Maths tutorials are available. Scholarships and traineeships are offered at this time and Year 12 is advised to seek assistance from Careers Adviser, Mr Blevin.
On September 12, we will be honoured by a visit from Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO Governor of New South Wales. The occasion will be to address Year 12 and present outstanding Level 1 and 2 students with their awards.
Congratulations to HSC Music students and staff on the excellent presentation evening last Wednesday. HSC performances included vocal and instrumental. Well done!
We welcome back U/15 Football boys from their successful tour to China. A very young side played matches against Bayern Munich, Korea and China demonstrating exceptional skill. The boys were subsequently invited to join future international tournaments in Europe and China.
